Underfloor Heating Accessories

Maincor Pipe Staples are used to fix pipework to EPS or equivalent insulation, which must be a minimum depth of 25mm. (Can be installed by hand or by staple gun). Allow 3 clips per metre of pipe.

Designed to secure 16mm or 20mm pipe. It has a self adhesive backing for ease of installation. Allow 1m for each m² of floor.

Used in conjunction with Mainfoil, the Mainfoil Clips are designed to straddle a standard 50mm joist at 400mm centres.

Designed for use with intermediate timber floor constructions, Mainfoil has high insulating and reflective properties. The foil increases the thermal efficiency of the system and allows installation to be carried out between joists. (One 30m² roll = 20m² UFH coverage).

The Heat Emission Plates are for use in timber suspended floors where the joists are at 400mm centres or in floating floor applications. The plates are 390mm wide x 1m in length. Allow two plates for per m² of floor.

The Floating Floor Panels are 50mm deep for use with the heat emission plates. The boards are made from pre-routed expanded polystyrene which is 50mm thick. When used in ground floors additional insulation may be required to comply with Part L of the building regulations.

Screed Foil is designed to be placed directly on top of the floor grade insulation providing a greater level of reflective insulation. Supplied in 60m x 1.25m rolls.

Edge Strip is insulation which is utilised around the perimeter of a room with a screeded floor to absorb expansion from the screed and prevent thermal bridging. The edge strip also comes complete with a polyethylene section which is used to give a tight seal between edge strip and floor insulation.
